Primary school Komenskeho 2 from Svit engaged in Comenius Multilateral Project in 2012 -2014. Multilateral cooperation between schools from different European countries focused on common interests of participating schools and helping them to work on a common project called „Nature is the root of European understanding“. In this project participated schools from Belgium, France, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Spain. The idea of the project was to get closer to nature by getting out and enjoying its beauty by means of trekking. Participating schools created educational hiking trails in their countries and prepared information boards on local fauna, flora, geology as well as major points of interest in the surrounding area. Primary school Komenskeho 2, set up a new educational trail Kimbiark which runs from Primary school Komenskeho 2 in Svit through historical part of the town to Borik hill then to Mengusovce and back. It is thirteen km long with twelve information panel boards installed along it.
